Itinerary
Day 1:
Travel up to Lancashire to our beautiful 700 year old renovated hotel. The modern facilities include a health and leisure club for your use.
Day 2:
Enjoy a classic rail journey on the Settle to Carlisle Railway, considered one of the most scenic rail journeys in England, as it winds through moorland scenery and over the famous Ribblehead Viaduct.
Day 3:
Travel into Yorkshire to Skipton to enjoy an historic, relaxing cruise along the Leeds-Liverpool canal. Afterwards, you have some free time in Skipton. On our way back, we will have a short stop at the ancient Bolton Abbey.
Day 4:
Today we head to Haworth, on the edge of the rugged Pennine Moors, where the Bronte family lived from 1820, and the sisters wrote their famous novels. Explore the quaint shops on the cobbled main street and grab yourself some lunch before we head down to Hebden Bridge, known as "one of the world's funkiest towns"
Day 5:
Today we depart back returning home to the Waterside.
